Community Service

College Fair Jim Hill High School (August 2015)

I helped universities organized and set up tables and booths for the school college fair. I also served food for university representatives.

School Choir EventFondren (November 2012 - 2015)

I had the opportunity to sing with my fellow choir members in the historic Fondren District for their annual Christmas Kickoff Celebration, where we sang an array of songs.

UMMC ShadowingUMMC Medical Center (December 2015)

On this day, I had an unforgettable experience of shadowing doctors at University of Mississippi Medical Center. While I was there, I recalled listening to the stories of several African American physicians. I also worked with other African American male high school students and male college students who are aspiring to become doctors. The information and advice given on certain medical procedures and exercises were extremely important to me. I was extremely grateful for this opportunity.

Mississippi Food NetworkJackson, MS (February 2016)

On this day, I had the unique opportunity to learn how to make boxes, package foods, and load crates. This could not have been possible without the support of the other individuals who came out along with my church members.

Church Missionary AssignmentCollege Hill Baptist Church (April 2016)

On this Saturday before my church's annual anniversary celebration, I had the life-changing opportunity of passing out information throughout the "Washington Addition" community. While, I was working many people came and thanked us for the food that we passed out and I had a clear understanding of how people in my church's community are struggle and the impact that the church itself has on the community.
